Ecommerce Website Design That Sells
We design and build online stores around your products and the people who buy them: easy to browse on a phone, quick to pay through Paystack, PayFast or Yoco, and set up for the way you deliver. For businesses anywhere in South Africa, at a fixed price in writing.

Ecommerce websites for South African businesses
Most online stores lose the sale in the same three places: a product page that doesn't answer the buyer's question, a checkout that asks too much of someone on a phone, and a delivery cost that only appears at the last step. We design your store around those moments: what your customers need to see before they buy, how they pay, and what delivery costs, shown before anyone types in a card number.
Every store starts from a blank page, designed around your products and your brand, not a theme thousands of other shops share. Payments go through a South African gateway, Paystack, PayFast or Yoco, so your customers pay the way they're used to and the money is paid out to your bank account. You add products, change prices and stock, and see every order in one place.
We're based in Hartbeespoort and build stores for businesses across South Africa. In Pretoria, Hartbeespoort or Potchefstroom we can sit down with you and your stock; anywhere else, the project runs over WhatsApp and video calls. You see the design early, and the price and timeline are in writing before we start.
Common questions.
Which payment gateway should my online store use?
In South Africa it's usually Paystack, PayFast or Yoco. All three take card payments and pay out to a South African bank account; they differ in their fees, how quickly the money reaches you and the other ways they let people pay, such as Instant EFT, Capitec Pay or Apple Pay. We compare them for the way you sell and set up the one that fits. Our own checkout runs on Paystack.
Shopify or a custom online store: which is better?
Shopify or WooCommerce suits you when a standard shop fits the way you sell and you're happy to set it up and run it yourself. A custom store suits you when you want a design that's yours alone, when your products need more than a standard product page, or when the checkout, delivery and stock have to work the way your business already does. We'll tell you which one you need, even if it's a platform you set up yourself.
What does South African law require on an online store?
The ECT Act asks an online store to show who you are and how to reach you, the full price including delivery, how payment works, when orders are sent, and your returns and refund policy, and it gives buyers seven days after delivery to cancel most orders. POPIA covers the personal information you collect at checkout, so the store needs a privacy policy. We design a place for each of these into the store and show the full price, with delivery, before anyone pays.
How much does an ecommerce website cost in South Africa?
Usually R8 000 to R30 000 and up, depending on how many products you sell, how people pay, your delivery rules and stock. Ours start from R14 000 once-off, quoted on your scope; a store has a back end, so it can need paid hosting, quoted with the build. Or pay it off from R1 399 a month over 12 months, with hosting, a domain and Care included.
How long does it take to build an online store?
It depends on how many products you have and what the store has to do, so you get the timeline in writing with your quote. What moves it most is your product information: photos, descriptions, prices and stock. We tell you exactly what we need at the start, and you see the design early.
Can you move my existing shop to a new website?
Yes. We rebuild it from scratch, bring your products across and redirect the old product and category addresses to their new pages, so links and Google results that point at your old shop still land in the right place.
Will my products show up on Google?
We build product and category pages with proper titles, descriptions and structured data, so Google can read your prices and stock and show them in its results. Where you rank still depends on your competitors and the sites that link to yours, and nobody honest can promise you a position.
